I am dealing with the water company if anyone can help me out there, point me in the right direction on dealing with Aqua of Pennsylvania. The Church water bill averages 500 gallons month.

($27.00) Last month we received an invoice for 104,800 gallons ($883.87) The meter reading in December 2017 was 77,000 gallons. The meeting reading in January was 181,800 gallons. I checked the building about 3 times a week, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday I called the Aqua customer care and they sent someone out to check the meter reading and the bathrooms for running water. He said he had to turn in the report and the water company would get back to me in a few days he also stated the meter read correctly and he found no leaks.

After a week I called the water company and asked for the results. They stated the meter read correctly and we owe $883.87. I ask if there was anything else we could do the appeal the charge. They say we could be placed on a payment plan.

I asked for a supervision. After being on hold for some time they came back and said none are available. I am looking for some direction on what can be done. How to appeal this.

All the pipes in the Church are above ground.

If we had a leak it would have flooded the basement. Is there a 3rd party that can check the meter?

Reason of review: No process to appeal problem..

Monetary Loss: $884.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

Aqua America Cons: Having no way to appeal.

Location: 762 Lancaster Ave, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010, USA

They did the same thing to a children's gymnastics facility in my state around the same time. Their bill was over $8,000!

So the gym, got the local news station involved and Aqua said they didn't have to pay! The facility only uses water for hand washing, drinking, ect. No leaks found either.

Aqua was going to make this small business that helps children in their community pay, until news station got involved. Maybe you should contact your local news.
